Application Type: Planning permission
Development Description: New 3-storey, five bedroom house on backland plot
Local Authorities/Councils: Kingston London Borough Council
Fuller Long have obtained planning permission on behalf of our client for a five bedroom house in Kingston Upon Thames. The approved development was to replace an existing bungalow, on a backland plot, with the construction of a three-storey detached house (with accommodation in the roof).
Planning permission had previously been approved for a two-storey replacement house, however the new design included a third storey in the mansard roof allowing for a significant increase in floor area. The site had a number of constraints including numerous trees and being located adjacent to a conservation area. We proved that the proposal had been designed so that it would be in keeping with the character of the surrounding area and would be in compliance with the policies of the Development Plan and the provisions of the NPPF, and therefore we were able to gain the desired planning permission for our client.
If you are looking to extend or redevelop your home Fuller Long can assist with planning permission for your development. To speak with one of our experienced team of planning consultants, please call us on 0808 164 1288 or email us at hello@fullerlong.com.
