Juliet has a wealth of knowledge of planning law, policy and development control with a particular knowledge of regeneration and the development process in central and east London.
Graduating from the University of the West of England with a BA (Hons) and Masters in Town & Country Planning, Juliet joined a small Planning Consultancy focussing on London. Since then she has gained significant experience in project management and coordinating technical consultants, and particular skills in working closely with clients and negotiating with local planning authorities. She has worked for and promoted the interests of a variety of clients including housing associations, developers, individual landowners and community groups.
Over the last 10 years of her work for private-sector, public-sector and charitable organisations, Juliet has advised on projects ranging from residential-led regeneration schemes, health centres and tall buildings to extensions and replacement dwellings.
Juliet has a wide practical knowledge of the planning system including development control, planning application and appeals; planning policy issues; public inquiry work; regeneration (notably in East London); housing renewal; EIA preparation and coordination; and negotiation of Section 106 agreements.
